60 years ago in 1941, three young pilots took off their American uniforms, joined the First American Volunteer Group, Flying Tigers, and went on a journey to China during the Second World War. In Yunnan Province of China, they met two Chinese volunteers in the military medical team. In the center of the battlefield, the lives of the five young people were intertwined and entirely changed because of the war.
60 years later in 2002, those who are alive meet in Kunming again. Long buried secrets are solved and they begin writing new chapters in their lives.
